The Perry County School System has started the process to bill Medicaid for health-related services. If your child has an IEP, IHP, or IFSP the school system is allowed to seek reimbursement from TennCare. You will never be charged for therapy services your child receives in the school system. It does not affect services that your child may receive outside of school. This will allow the school system to receive more funds to provide services. If your child has an IEP, IHP, or IFSP expect a letter soon explaining this process. We will need parents to fill out forms and send them back to school. Teacher Inservice will begin Thursday, July 28th at 8:30 am in the Perry County High School cafeteria.
*Registration Day for ALL Students will be Tuesday, August 2nd from 7:45 until 9:30 am at all schools. Wednesday, August 3rd is a staff development day (no students), and the FIRST FULL DAY of school will be Thursday, August 4th. Buses will start running on August 4th . School meals will no longer be free for all students. Meals will only be free or reduced price if you qualify by turning in an application for free meals. School meal prices have not increased. The prices are the same as they were in 2018-2019.
